The wintry family activity takes place in January - February every year at
Parc Jean-Drapeau. This year our family headed on the event one Saturday evening. It was pretty cold and snowy outside, but we did not let it bother us. And we were not the only ones! This activity is almost free: the entry is free but the parking costs $7 (or a metro ticket), so something to do with a small budget. Of course, you can spend some money there - buy a hot chocolate, go to gigantic slides or take a big wheel in order to enjoy pretty nice view of the site and the city of Montreal. But you can also choose to bring your own snacks, and for small children, your slides with you as otherwise it might get difficult to get around the site. We liked it, for one wintry evening!
